Veolia’s SEETEC site at the Daesan Petrochemical Complex has achieved the highest ‘P’ rating in the Process Safety Management(PSM) assessment.
The PMS system, administered by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, is designed to prevent major industrial accidents, specifically targeting workplaces that handle hazardous chemicals. In August 2024, Veolia’s SEETEC site was awarded the prestigious ‘P’ rating, an honor given to only 114 sites out of 2,211 PSM-assessed sites nationwide, placing it in the top 5%. This marks an improvement from the previous ‘S’ rating.
As a result of this achievement, the PSM compliance inspection cycle has been extended from two years to four years. This milestone also enhances our trust and partnership with clients like LG Chem and LOTTE Chemical.
