In November 2022, Veolia Korea signed a 5-year BOT contract with Magnachip for additional UPW supply, which will be effective from March 2023. A new UPW production facility will be constructed in Magnachip’s Gumi factory to stable support the client’s growth plan.
Upselling of the contract was based on our team’s continuous efforts and initiatives to improve the client’s sustainability goals while still ensuring cost optimization and stable operation. The factory’s water recovery rate is over 60% and innovative ESG solutions have been implemented.
