In January 2017, Veolia Korea won a 10-year industrial water O&M contract with Hyundai Transys. Hyundai Transys is the main automobile part (Automatic Transmission) manufacturer of Hyundai Motor Group, and is located near Daesan LG/Lotte Chemical project.
Veolia operates and maintains Hyundai Transys's Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Reverse Osmosis Reuse Water Plant (RWP), evaporators, dryers and LNG boilers. The treated wastewater will be reused as process water through RWP in order to get supplied to the main Hyundai Transys production facility.
