Veolia signed an 8-year Energy Performance Contract for Dongkook Pharmaceutical in September 2021. The contract was made to achieve the client's goals to establish an ESG management system optimizing the performance of its wastewater treatment plants and reducing carbon footprint. Through this project, Dongkook Pharmaceutical is recycling biogas from wastewater to source it as boiler fuel for the plant operation.
This is the first case in Korea to introduce Veolia's innovative energy and utility-saving measurement services to industrial clients. It leverages on the Hubgrade solution and Veolia off-site team is conducting real-time monitoring of the system bringing expertise.
